Après le Grand Palais à Paris, la Base sous-marine de Bordeaux accueille tout l’été cette exposition gratuite et accessible à tous.

ROWENA IS A VISUAL ARTIST BASED IN THE IRISH MIDLANDS. SHE IS A RECIPIENT OF BURSARIES FROM THE ARTS COUNCIL (2004), THE ARTS AND DISABILITY IRELAND AWARD SCHEME (THE ARTS COUNCIL AND THE ARTS COUNCIL OF NORTHERN IRELAND, 2005.2007,2010), ARTIST IN THE COMMUNITY AWARD, 2008 (CREATE,THE ARTS COUNCIL), TYRONE GUTHRIE AWARD (OFFALY COUNTY COUNCIL 2009).SHE HAS WORK IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE COLLECTIONS INCLUDING THE O.P.W, OFFALY COUNTY COUNCIL, LAOIS COUNTY COUNCIL AND THE H.S.E.

ALONG SIDE HER OWN SOLO WORK ROWENA WORKS IN A COMMUNITY AND COLLABORATIVE CONTEXT.

MEMBRE DU MOUVEMENT ARTISTIQUE IMMAGINE POESIA

IMMAGINE&POESIA is an international artistic literary movement founded at Alfa Teatro, Torino, Italy in 2007, with the patronage of Aeronwy Thomas, Dylan Thomas's daughter.

The charter members of the movement were:

Aeronwy Thomas, poet and writer
Gianpiero Actis, painter
Silvana Gatti, painter
Sandrina Piras, poet
Lidia Chiarelli, coordinator and ideologist of the movement.
The American poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti and the Italian artist Ugo Nespolo are members of IMMAGINE&POESIA’s Honorary Committee. Beverly Matherne, a professor at the Northern Michigan University, is a much appreciated poet of the movement. The official art critics of the movement are Mary Gorgy and Enzo Papa.

The Manifesto has been translated into 20 languages. It consists of 10 points. The fourth point suggests moments of cross fertilization for artists and poets in order to support the thesis that a literary text may inspire the creation of a figurative art work and vice versa: the result is a new and complete form of art

Image & poésie est le mouvement artistique littéraire internationale fondée en 2007 À TURIN, d'une idée de l'anglais écrivain aeronwy Thomas, la fille de poète anglais Dylan Thomas. Le mouvement propose aux artistes et les poètes à l'expérience moments de la "créativité croisée". Dans quelques années, le mouvement a propagation dans le monde entier, il est présent sur wikipédia dans différentes langues et a actuellement des centaines de membres. Le manifeste a été traduit en 20 langues. Il se compose de 10 points. Le quatrième point suggère moments de croix fertilisation pour les artistes et poètes afin d'appuyer la thèse qu'un texte littéraire peut inspirer la création d'un art figuratif travail et vice versa: le résultat est un nouveau et remplir le formulaire d'art.

Beers.Lambert Contemporary announces a new award for emerging artists worldwide: the First Annual Beers.Lambert Award for Emerging Art. As one of its primary operating initiatives, Beers.Lambert's artist-support program has always believed in nurturing emerging artists and celebrating excellence in emerging contemporary art. Now, our newest initiative coincides with our gallery relocation to its brand new space on Baldwin Street at Old Street in the heart of the East London. The Beers.Lambert Award for Emerging Artwas born and devised as a method to recognize outstanding achievement and/or promise in the arts and to present emerging artists with a unique exhibition opportunity in London, and offer international exposure to under-represented artists to help them succeed.

Un petit happening sur la mode qu'elle adorait
en faisant défiler des perles d'Aquitaine
dans les robes égyptiennes
qu'elle avait créées
pour Paris en 2003!!
